What to do in San Fran when you’ve just about done everything else? How about a musical or opera? We suggest three. First, the San Francisco Opera is presenting Cyrano de Bergerac with legendary tenor Placido Domingo. The performances will take place at the War Memorial Opera House at 301 Van Ness Ave. For tickets call 415-864-3330.

Into murder? The check out Murder for Two: A Killer Musical, at the Eureka Theatre at 215 Jackson St. What to expect: A mix of Agatha Christie and old-fashioned musical comedy with a dash of 21st century flair. An inspector arrives at an old, dark house to solve a murder and encounters a host of eccentric and cunning suspects. The twist? One actor plays the inspector, the other plays all 13 suspects, and they both play the piano! Sounds like a show to us! The show runs through the 21st.

Last, but never least, the old standby: West Side Story at the Orpheum Theatre. The show runs through November 28. Ben Brantley of The New York Times called the show “enthralling and electric.” Good enough for us. For tickets, which run from $30 up to $99, call 888-SHN-1799.
